Abstract provided by Publisher

The present article attempts to define the clinical, functional and radiological indications for multilevel soft tissue release in the treatment of static and dynamic deformities in cerebral palsy children. The functional status of the child before surgery is an indication of the biomechanical disturbances within the limbs and joints and the child’s overall neurophysiological condition. By restoring muscular balance, surgical treatment influences the presence and extent of dynamic and static joint deformity in the CP child and improves the child’s general condition.
